Why United We Work?
In July 2008, a group of leading American companies created AllianceQ. Their goal was to collaborate on various recruitment issues, in an effort to drive down future recruiting costs, and to improve the experience candidates received during the recruitment process.
Today, AllianceQ is a growing collaboration of the best-known companies in America, that have successfully built a private recruitment network to help their millions of job candidates get connected to more job opportunities.
The Alliance Members believe that in these difficult economic times, employers who are hiring should be able to hire without fees, and any job seeker looking for work, should have every chance of being found and hired.
To help achieve this, the Alliance Members approached QuietAgent, the next-generation job matching network that powers AllianceQ, and convinced them to open up their technology and job network to all employers and any job seeker looking for work, so that they may be found and hired without recruiting costs.
"It's a simple proposition," says Phil Haynes, Director of AllianceQ. "If employers who are considering making a new hire, can save a job posting fee, a retained search fee, a placement fee or even just save some time, then just maybe these savings will stimulate that employer to make that new hire right now - and that helps everyone out."
United We Work will help more people get hired faster. It is a response to the current economic environment facing America, and one that will add significant value to our communities, and our country.
